Mary Bridge Children's Hospital

The project objective was to creat an environment to be as friendly to children as it could be considering that it was a frightening hospital environment.

A Medievil theme was chosen through interpretation of drawings provided by pre-school children, ages three through six. The design theme was based on those reoccuring element's that were consistantly repeated in the children's drawings. Those elements included castles with doors and door handles, princesses with a crown, a sun, pets and a garden. The border was designed and hand painted with a special hidden element that the children are intrigued to search for.
